NKC Health has earned national recognition in the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) 2026 Digital Health Most Wired program. The organization achieved Level 8 “Leading”  recognition for acute care and Level 9 “Highly Advanced” recognition for ambulatory care.

The recognition reflects NKC Health’s progress in using technology, data and digital innovation to improve care, strengthen operations and create a more connected experience for patients and care teams. NKC Health scored above its peer-group averages across most areas measured, with particularly strong performance in patient engagement, population health, administration and infrastructure.

The Digital Health Most Wired program benchmarks healthcare organizations across key areas of digital maturity, including analytics and data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, patient engagement, clinical quality and safety, and innovation and emerging technologies. The assessment evaluates not only technology adoption, but also its maturity, integration, and value across clinical and operational environments.

“This recognition reflects our commitment to using technology to improve care while earning and sustaining patient trust,” said Kristen Guillaume, vice president and chief digital and information officer. “As AI transforms health care, that commitment requires responsible AI, strong cybersecurity and a continued focus on protecting the patients and communities we serve.”

The independent benchmark helps NKC Health measure its digital maturity and identify opportunities for continued improvement. The organization will continue investing in digital capabilities and the secure infrastructure needed to support innovation and advance digital transformation.

CHIME rates organizations on a 10-level scale, with Level 10 being the highest. NKC Health’s recognition demonstrates advanced digital health capabilities in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
