Parkville Days 2026

The annual Parkville Days festival celebrates our charming historic town and features a variety of family-friendly entertainment.

Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music along the Missouri River and on Main Street. There will be family fun throughout the weekend, including the Evans Midland Empire Carnival, starting Friday at 6 pm. Browse arts & crafts, retail, food, and specialty vendors. Take a helicopter ride over Parkville and the Missouri River. Participating downtown shops will host their "end-of-summer" promos and specials...and much more!

EVENT SCHEDULE

Friday, August 21 ∙ 6 – 10 pm

• Evans Midland Empire Carnival (opens at 6pm) ∙ Wristband Special

• Live Music starting at 6pm on the McKeon Stage in English Landing Park

• Live Music at The Craic on Main, 7-10pm

• Arts & Crafts, Retail, Food & Specialty Vendors

• Family-friendly activities

• Helicopter Rides (located on the baseball field in Platte Landing Park). Cash Only, $50.00 per person, minimum of 2 people - max of 3 people per ride. No age or height restrictions, but there is a seat restriction of 280 lbs.

• Beer Garden

• Downtown Parkville Merchants - check out our amazing local shops and restaurants on Main Street, East Street, and English Landing Center. Many will have promos and specials throughout the weekend to celebrate Parkville Days.

Saturday, August 22 ∙ Noon – 10 pm

• Evans Midland Empire Carnival ∙ Wristband Special (Noon-10pm)

• Parkville Farmer's Market ∙ 7 am - Noon

• Parkville Days Parade ∙ 10 am (streets close around 9am) The parade starts at 63rd Street & Hwy 9 and travels south to downtown Parkville on Main Street.  Parkville Trivia and Giveaways start at 10am at the Grandstand (1st & Main Street)

• Face Painting and Caricatures after the parade at Pocket Park (1st and Main St)

• Pancake Breakfast-The American Legion will host their annual pancake breakfast, starting at 7:30 am.

• Family Sports Fest on Saturday, 11am-2pm in English Landing Park, hosted by the Platte County Sports Commission, featuring autographs with KC Mascots (Sluggerrr, KC Wolf, Blue, Mac the Maverick, and Sir George the Park University Pirate), and Contests, Prizes, Raffles, and Giveaways!

• Family friendly activities, including a Main Stage performance by Pride Martials Arts and School of Rock, and face-painting and caricatures in Pocket Park at 1st & Main Street.

• Live Music starting at 2pm (See schedule below)

• Parkville Mini Golf will be open all weekend.
• Enjoy beautiful English Landing Park – miles of walking trails, pickleball, playgrounds, frisbee golf, sand volleyball, and basketball
• Platte Landing Park and the Parkville Dog Park will be open all weekend.
• Dogs are allowed and must be on a leash. No reptiles or exotic animals.
