Things feel a little less landlocked in Parkville, where residents and visitors enjoy up-close and personal access to the Missouri River through English Landing Park, a 68-acre haven with walking trails and scenery.  A wildlife preserve and education site, the Parkville Nature Sanctuary includes almost three miles of hiking trails. Natural surroundings aside, the historic and walkable downtown area has all the small-town atmosphere and amenities you’d expect.
