The River Cities Express will connect Parkville, Riverside, and North Kansas City to FIFA World Cup Fan Fest in downtown Kansas City across all 18 days of the event.
RIVERSIDE, Mo. — The City of Riverside, in coordination with the cities of Parkville and North Kansas City, is proud to announce the launch of the River Cities Express, an official soccer transportation shuttle service connecting communities along the Missouri River corridor to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Fan Fest.
The service will operate across all 18 days of Fan Fest, running from June 11 through July 11, 2026, with transportation provided by GEST.
The River Cities Express will serve three stops along its route: Park University in Parkville, Argosy Casino in Riverside, and the North Kansas City ConnectKC26 stop at 520 E. 19th Avenue, where riders can connect to a transfer shuttle heading to Fan Fest at the National World War One Museum and Memorial in downtown Kansas City. All three cities are situated along the Missouri River and Highway 9, making the 10-mile route a natural and efficient corridor for World Cup fans.
Fares & How to Ride
The River Cities Express offers affordable transportation options for World Cup fans throughout the Kansas City region. Rides are open to anyone interested in attending Fan Fest or wanting to experience shopping, dining, or entertainment in the three cities along the route.
Single Ride: $5.00 per person
Punch Card: $25.00 for 6 rides
